Savannah's Organic Ranch is proud to announce the "Savannah's Heart" Award! Attached please an application to honor outstanding kids and groups/clubs in our community with children ages 7-18 years old. Savannah's Organic Ranch is looking for kids and groups who have reached out in the community in ways both big and small! The deadline is May 12, 2009. Please nominate a child you may know with a big heart!

Garden will grow vegetables and students' minds

St. Mary's honors one of their own

Reese Wensinger and Aiden Aval knelt down on flagstones and carefully planted seeds one at a time in a small garden patch in front of St. Mary and All Angels School. Master Gardener Jeanne Lapowsky, from the Orange County Cooperative Extension, watched over the kindergartners and gave direction about keeping the seeds a little apart so there would be room for them to grow.

The garden is a memorial to Savannah Sachen, who died in 2007 from cancer. She was a student at the school.

Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation has a selection of Holiday Cards that raise money for Cancer Research.

An Amazing Bake Sale

We would like to acknowledge Junior Girl Scout Troop 2226

On Wednesday, June 6th, Orange County Girl Scout Troop 2226 organized a bake sale at a local park where they sold homemade baked goods, including organic options to raise money for Savannah's Ranch. See photos, read more>>
